Communications Officers are responsible for communicating with adoption applicants to and pet transportation services used by LUNA Organization. (We are a social media-based nonprofit youth organization dedicated to providing homes for sheltered, stray, and rescued cats and dogs and to raising awareness of animal welfare issues worldwide. We are currently based in the Philippines but shall soon expand overseas.) There is no exact time commitment for this position, but most Communications Officers contribute between 3 and 10 hours per week on average.

We invite animal lovers from all over the world to sign up to be Communications Officers at LUNA Organization. Like all members of LUNA Organization, Communications Officers must be between 13 and 25 years old (although GozAround lists 18 years as the lower limit on age). They must also have good interpersonal and communication skills. It is also preferred that they have experience with professional communication as an activity (e.g., Model United Nations), educational pursuit, career, or other significant context and that they are proficient at reading and writing in Filipino (although these are both far from necessary).
